Liver autoantibodies immunoblot


Test Background
A liver immunoblot is offered for confirmation of staining on immunofluorescence for liver-specific antibodies. These include M2, 3E(BPO), SP100, PML and GP210 antibodies, which can be found in primary biliary cirrhosis, and also LKM type 1 and SLA antibodies, which can be seen in autoimmune hepatitis type 2.
