Clinical Indications
HLA typing is carried out at low to medium resolution for HLA-A, -B –C, -DR and DQ to antigen level, for renal and stem cell transplant patients and their respective donors. HLA can also be used as a marker for disease association, in particular for coeliac disease, Behçet's disease and narcolepsy.
