We have seen an increase in the number of GP request forms received in the lab without the assigned Individual GP code.
Investigation has shown that all recent surgeries affected by this error have recently migrated to System1. This may be coincidental, however if you have recently moved to System1 please check your forms to see if the GP ID codes still appear. If they do not please contact System1 to have them reinstated. Unfortunately the Pathology IT department are not able to assist in this matter except to provide the GP codes.
Failure to provide us with the individual GP code for manually booked in test requests may lead to manual transcription errors and patient results being assigned to the incorrect requesting GP.
